Wood carving is using a piece wood to design figures or figurines in it by means of tools such as the chisel and carving knives that enable chipping off bits and pieces of wood and shaping the piece till a final figure emerges. Different wood carvings of gods, humans, animals, birds and other abstract shapes are found all over the world from time immemorial.
